Hibernate version: 3.0

GENERAL QUESTION:

Does Hibernate allow for a select statement that accesses tables across multiple connections???

For example:

Table A is on database A which is on machine 1.
Table B is on database B which is on machine 2.

Mapping documents:

Code between sessionFactory.openSession() and session.close():

Full stack trace of any exception that occurs:

Name and version of the database you are using:

The generated SQL (show_sql=true):

Debug level Hibernate log excerpt:

With 2 session factories. i.e 2 different cfg and 2 xml.hbm schema (no sql join between the 2 databases).
