Marshalling object graph to XML

Hi all,

I would like to select a record from a certain table as well as every linked record in other tables. Is it possible to create an XML string from a whole object tree using the XML mapping feature of Hibernate 3?

If possible can you give me some code snippets doing this kind of things?
