Hello,
I am new to hibernate, and after some work I was able to take advantage of hibernate synchronizer eclipse plugin working, and write a basic hibernate2 application.

Well, since I just started learning, I thought I might as well start learning hibernte3. I was able to get the hibernate tools going and run few queries, nicely.

I need some examples for hibernate3. Most of the stuff on the web is hibernate3 only, and I am little puzzled, since there is nothing I could find except the documentation that comes with the zip file.

What I would like to be able to accomplish is to have some helper classes like in hibernate synchronizer generated code (it creates dao's, and base dao's so the user can just initilalize a _rootdao, and then run load, save, update, etc)

I guess this is possible tru templates? Is that right or is there a better way?

Hibernate3 tools generate mappings and objects nicely, but there is still need to write code for methods to just put and get objects from the database.

Any ideas/help/recomendations will be greatly appreciated,

Best Regards,
-O.B.
