Hibernate validator and websphere v 8.5.5 and v 6.1 fpk 45

Hi,

We have migrated to Websphere Application Server v 8.5.5 and found a performance problem. We have been told that its due to an issue with Hibernate Validator. The solution being to switch it off see

Are you aware of this problem? What could be causing this or whether the latest version of Hibernate Validator will fix it?

Hi,

Unfortunately the referenced blog post doesn't provide any additional useful information such as the types and numbers of validated objects, how validation was invoked, what exactly is the issue about (take validations very long on average, is it a through-put problem etc.), which version of Hibernate Validator and so on.

If you have any specific information which describes the problem and its context in more detail, that'd help. Also be sure to use the latest version if possible, as we constantly work on performance-related tasks and the latest version generally should be the best.
