My constraint.xml file is not able to accept the Hibernate Constraints it is giving me this exception. It works fine for java based constraints, but not Hibernate constraints

Everything works fine, but when I give Hibernate constraints on the class beans it is throwing No validator found exception. Can anyone please let me know what is the problem.

RequestingDocumentList is a list type. So I need to check for NotNull and Not empty.

can you post the declaration of the type RequestingDocumentList? Does it (directly or indirectly) implement java.util.Collection?

The @NotEmpty constraint is allowed for String, Collection, Map and arrays. So the exception is expected when your type is none of these. @NotNull works since it supports java.lang.Object, that is, every Java type.
