Hi guys,

HV 4.2 already implements a method validation extension to JSR-303. Is there constructor validation available? If not, when?

Apache BVal already implements it, and I was surprised to see that HV didn't.

Hi,

There is no constructor validation available in HV 4.2 or 4.3. It will be available in HV 5.0 which aligns with the Bean Validation specification 1.1. This version is adding method validation (including constructor validation) to the main part of the spec.

The latest snapshot if HV (5.0.0.Alpha1) contains already constructor validation.
