Hi Folks,

I had been using version 4.0.0.beta1 of search successfully, but there is a problem with indexing on windows so we've tried to update to version 4.0.0.Final. Unfortunately the jar file is empty on maven ( http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.h ... ate-search ) for any newer version. Have the classes been moved to another project?

The documentation seems to suggest using 4.1.0Final, but it's also only 3k.

Any ideas where I might be going wrong, I have tried searching, but haven't found an answer

All the best,
Ash

Hi,
yes the artifact was split, the hibernate-search jar is indeed empty, we used it's pom.xml file to depend on the two jars that you actually need:
hibernate-search-engine
hibernate-search-orm

I'm sorry for the trouble, we're assuming that Maven users are not impacted as the empty jar is automatically depending on those two. Am I wrong on that?

Sanne,

Thanks for the quick response! That has solved our problems. I think we had problems as we are using ivy rather than maven. Thank goodness, I was tearing my hair out :)

Thanks again,
Ash
