I have created an event listener class and add that class as event listener in my domain object. And in event listener I have two functions marked @PrePersist and @PostLoad. @PrePersist is getting triggered when I persist new entity. But @PostLoad is not getting invoked when retrieving entity. My application is spring 3 with JPA and Hibernate. We are using Spring data jpa for Repository implementation.

First off, this is the wrong forum. This belongs to the Hibernate Users forum. In case you are asking the same question there, I recommend that you include your configuration and versions of the different pieces of software you are using. Also any information from the log which could be helpful.
