Hi all. Need to clarify the myth in Hibernate search with JMS Backend
I configured 1 slave and 1 master node with JBoss JMS. The official documentation said that master node needs a MDB implementing AbstractJMSHibernateSearchController process LuceneWork without a specific implementation. Does it mean that I have to implement the MDB myself to process all received message?
As i see in JMSBackendQueueProcessor , the slave node sends List<LuceneWork> to master and this list includes AddLuceneWork, DeleteLuceneWork .... Does HibernateSearch have any class to process those classes?

Hi,

yes you have to implement your MDB yourself. However, this should be very easy since you can extend from the AbstractJMSHibernateSearchController. The reason there is no concrete implementation is that the implementation will vary depending on which JMS framework you are using. The online documentation contains an example for JBoss AS using annotations - http://docs.jboss.org/hibernate/stable/search/reference/en/html_single/#d0e1176.
