Seems that the CreditCard validator was dropped in HV 4. Cannot find a reference in the code or the docs: http://docs.jboss.org/hibernate/stable/ ... ml_single/

Can anyone shed some light about whether this will come back?

Right, currently CreditCard validator is not part of Validator 4. The aim was first to implement the Bean Validation standard. For the next release however we are planning to port the missing legacy validators as well as adding new ones.
