Hibernate Search With dynamic-map mode

I am trying unsuccessfully to get search working with hibernate in dynamic-map mode.
How can I get search working without any pojos?

There is no support for that in Hibernate Search.
Out of interest, how do you envision this to work?

Seems like it would the same as other searches. Obviously you couldn't use annotations, you would have to use xml config files and all references to Class would just be entity-name instead...

Am I missing something? doesn't seem like it would be allot different to normal searching?

I really like dynamic map mode but there is just so little support for it ie(search, validator, etc). makes it hard to justify using it.

Or in 3.2 there will be a "programmatic" way to define configuration and mappings; not sure if that can help with dynamic map modes?

I haven't really used dynamic map myself, but I am not sure whether it would be as easy as providing some xml configuration for Search. But maybe I am wrong. I guess dynamic map is as you say dynamic map mode has very little support. If you are interested in this feel free to evaluate what would be needed to make it work. We are happy to help you as much as we can.
