It looks like that the ebook has some problem in chapter 2.
-in page 81 : we can not import something like this:

import persistence.*;

I think it should be

import javax.persistence.*;



-where i should find HibernateUtil ?
I can not find it in Hibernate 3.2-GA, can you give me some help about this?

First, the only time the string you quote appears in the book, it is correct. Read the example again.

Second, the preface of the book has a section "How to get the code?", please read that.

HibernateUtil is a self-defined class,you'll find in page 56
