hi,

In page 229 of Hibernate in Action, it basically outlines few important ideas

It's preferred if the non-inverse side of a many-to-many association
mapping is using a map, list or bag (which all permit duplicates).

Huhhh? I just can't see why.

Can someone explain to me why above holds???

Thanks,

Sam

I've just re-read it myself. Ignore the whole sentence that says "Thus it's preferred". It is technically correct, but totally confusing. Just remove it from the book and don't waste time on it.
