I went to download CaveatEmptor for Hibernate 2.1, however I found the link with CaveatEmptor for Hibernate 3.1

My question is why is one only 3Mb big and the other one already 16Mb?
Is it something only because it is in progress, or the new Hibernate takes just more space and more lines to do?

... and also (this is stupid but :) does CaveatEmptor stand for "Beware of the Customer"? ... coz it sounds Latin.

regards,

1. It's bigger because there is much more stuff in it.

2. It means "No Warranty".

More stuff as more stuff in the example or more stuff in the Hibernate Package .. I noticed that the 3.1 has a package called classic that contains old stuff. Is this suposed to be used by new developers, or is there only for migration reasons.

Just more examples and more libraries. Check the Hibernate3 migration guide if you want to know what has changed.
