Having figured out how to customize my POJO generation using hbm2java I had the bright idea that I could (mis)use this to generate the equivalent CORBA IDL I need for to export the entities through the middleware layer. I thought if I modify javaclass.vm i could easily produce a CORBA struct instead of a POJO and possibly using the DAO generation produce the base corba interfaces I need for my services.

According to other topics/posts javaclass.vm should be the tools jar in pojo/vm. However it isn't. If the posts I've seen (from max) are old I have a couple of questions:

Is javaclass.vm still part of the tool set?

Where is it now (I'm using 3.2.3.GA)

If it is no longer method of doing this can you point me in the right direction.

OK I found out that the velocity stuff is old hat. It would appear that the new stuff is pretty cool and should be able to do what I want. I will post the reveng file once I've got it sussed.

yeah its been a couple of years since we ditched velocity and moved to freemarker.
