I am using hbm2ddl to generate ddl. I have a property tag with type="boolean". When I use hbm2ddl for mySQL dialect, I get a column of datatype "BIT". When I use OracleDialect, the datatype of the generated column is "number(1,0)". Is there a way to make the datatype of the generated column to be "TINYINT"? I don't want BIT or number(1,0).

Thanks in advance for your reply!

use your own custom dialect that uses registerType to use the type you want it to be.
