Hi,

I would like to use the hibernate tools for testing hql-queries. Unfortunately I can't get them to work. Like indicated in the manual, I create a .cfg.xml file with the wizard and then create a console configuration.

When switching to the hibernate view and when trying to open the console configuration I just created, I always get a "Problem Occured" window:

Quote:
An internal error occurred during: "Fetching children of hibernate_console_configuration".
Bad version number in .class file

I'm using hibernate tools 3.1.0.beta5, postgreSQL 8.2, and hibernate 3.2.2.ga

I tried searching the user forum but my query always times out...

Many thanks in advance,

Jörg

beta5? that's ancient ;)

Anyhow - don't run Eclipse with a JDK 1.4 if your project classes are compiled to Java 5 code...
