Hi,

I am looking a tool, and eclipse plugins, that allows me to generate a datamodel based on domain model ( Java classes ), something like domain model <--> data model. After reading the online help, I don't find such feature is provided by Hibernate Tools. Am I correct ? Is there any such tools ?

Thanks.

There is a tool called "hbm2java" that generates the dml statements from hbm files.

no there isn't a class2hbm anymore - it was too unreliable and people trusted that just running this tool would give excellent mappings (which is very wrong)

I recommend you look into JPA/annotations since that is the scenario where you will have to do less typing compared to e.g. xml.
