 Post subject: Hibernate tools:can't find Mapping File Editor

I have installed Hibernate Tools 3.2.0,everything is ok,but I can't find Mapping File Editor anywhere...
Can anybody help me?

do you mean a hbm.XML file editor? Hmmm I wonder what you could use to edit that... :P

Now I understand,the Mapping File Editor actually means XML editor,but it
can't do any completion.I'm sure the project has a proper configured hibernate console configuration.

Yes. I can't seem to get hte hibernate mapping and configuration editors to open either.

so your error log must contain something about the plugins not starting up.

It turns out that as I'm using easyEclipse that the *.xml extension had been set to an xml editor that wasn't the default editor. It was overridding the *.cfg.xml and *.reveng.xml extensions that I put in there. Once I removed the *.xml extension it worked.
