Default value of a column

Hi,

I'm using the hbm2java ant task to generate POJOs from a postgres database. I'm using hibernate-tools 3.2.0-beta9.

It seems like the default values for a column if they were specified in the database aren't being reflected in the POJOs.

I'm wondering is there a way to get the default values reflected in the POJOs?

It has been discussed a couple of times and noone has yet to convince that it makes sense. It needs a lot of conversion rules to be correct.
