I was wondering if it would be possible to merge generated mapping files from hibernate with some modifications.

For instance, I added named queries to a mapping file and I would like to keep this query when regenerating this file with middlegen.

I took a look at this page which is about simple plugin but it does not seem to work since it is not quite well explained :

so keep the queries in a separate file.

hibernate tools (not middlegen) generates queries to a seperate file.
