Tools for eclipse

Hello,
I am new to hibernate and have 2 questions about the tools:
1. will the tools for hibernate work with eclipse 3.1?

2. will the tools for eclipse work if i use Hibernate Annotations?

1) No, this require eclipse 3.2

2) Yes

1) Hibernate Tools 3.1.x works with Eclipse 3.1,
Hibernate Tools 3.2.x (new development) works with Eclipse 3.2
