I have got some Middlegen plugins that generate

DAO Interfaces
Spring Hibernate DAOs Impl
SLSB Facades
XML Config
DBUnit Test Clients

and I want to convert them to Hibernate Tools.

What the best way of doing this? extend GenericExporter and use <hbmtemplate> ?

Also when are you planning a production release?

Best.

Step 1: Send me copies of the code (if you can) so that I can (possible) commit them to Middlegen source tree.

Answer: The tools has the approriate hooks for applying custom templates so I would start there. I would also consider staying in touch and we (e.g., Max) will consider adding your features into the tools code base.
