Bad xml on update site?

Network connection problems encountered during search.
  Unable to access "http://tools.hibernate.org".

eh ? where does it say tools.hibernate.org is an update site ?

oops, yeah, I figured out the real site, but the front page of hibernate.org does say:

Why not just put the real update URL there? :-)

because the updatesite contains more than just hibernate tools...
because the hibernate site is not built for handling large downloads...
because that news item is about 6 months old?! :)
