Hi all,
I have a problem with the installation of Hibernate Tools as the Eclipse 3.2 plugin.
I have downloaded the .ZIP with the plugin, decompressed in the dir of Eclipse and started the IDE.
In the "New" item of File menu I can write a Hibernate Mapping (.hbm.xml) and that's ok.
But...how I can convert this mapping file in a Java class? The plugin is correctly installed (Help->Manage Configuration) but I not see the item "Database" in the context menu for "compile" the mapping file.

Someone can help me?

Thank you,

Luca.

"but I not see the item "Database" in the context menu for "compile" the mapping file."

huh? don't know these options....where have you heard about those?

you need to run hibernate code generation. see the docs on how to do that based on a console configuration.

Hi Max,
thank you for your reply!
I've seen the "database" contextual menu item on the running Eclipse of a machine of a my job's friend and yo're right, it's not related to the Hibernate Tools but to another plugin!
Thank to your suggestion I have just configured the Tools and now that's ok!

:)

Luca.
