Hibernate version: 3.1.3
HibernateTools version: 3.1.0-beta5
Eclipse version: 3.1.2

GEF Module version: 3.1.1 (sdk)
EMF Module version: 2.1.2 (sdk)
WTP Module version: 1.0.2-200604200208 (runtime)

Full stack trace of any exception that occurs:
Quote:
Invalid Menu Extension (Path is invalid): org.hibernate.eclipse.launch.LaunchMenuDelegateMenu
An exception stack trace is not available.

Additional Infos: eclipse.buildId=M20060118-1600

My Eclipse IDE is not able to load properly the Hibernate CodeGeneration Button on the Toolbar resulting unable to access the CodeGeneration features.

Probably it is due to the beta-stage of the tool or in a wrong dependencies satisfaction?

However, which is the complete list of dependencies of HibernateTools 3.1.0-beta5?

Thanks for help,
Sharky

I had the same problem until I installed from the file named:

JBossIDE-1.6.0.GA-Bundle-win32.zip

which is available here:

http://jboss.com/products/jbosside/downloads

This bundles together Eclipse, the JBoss IDE, and the plugins you need.

After that, the hibernate tools button appeared and it works, with some issues. Using the ant build file works with no issues at all.

Others in the group have posted on the same problem - you can see their posts if you do some searching.

Good luck!
Vick

Thanks for the reply fisherv,
I'll try the JBoss IDE...

However I'll try Ant too, so the project isn't much tied to a special configuration...

or use some older version of myeclipse ide that does not contain conflicting code (their latest beta's should though work).

myeclipse hibernate support is based on a altered and reduced version of hibernate tools which can give conflicts.
