I was trying to get the Hibernate Tools working in my environment but at first was getting a lot of exceptions. Exploring the message boards, I read that it was dependent on the 1.5 JDK. I updated Eclipse to use the 1.5.0_07 JDK, was still getting the problem until I receated my project from scratch. Since then, no exceptions but no menus either...

On the New icon, I get the following menu items:

Hibernate XML Mapping File
Hibernate Configuration File
Hibernate Console Configuration
Hibernate Reverse Engineering File

---

I wiped out Eclipse entirely, reinstalled and just installed the HibTools plugin and started a brand new project. When I did this, I had the Code Generation Launcher in the Run menu. Afterwards I restarted Eclipse and the CGL was gone from the Run menu.

I am in the Hibernate perspective...

Any thoughts?

Hibernate version:
hibernatetools-3.1.0.beta5.zip

Eclipse version:
Version: 3.1.2
Build id: M20060118-1600

Name and version of the database you are using:
mySQL 5.0.22

Banging around I found that I am getting the error:

Invalid Menu Extension (Path is invalid): org.hibernate.eclipse.launch.LaunchMenuDelegateMenu

I examined the JARS and found that the LaunchMenuDelegateMenu class is missing from the jar:

plugins\org.hibernate.eclipse.console_3.1.0.beta5\org.hibernate.eclipse.console.jar

It appears to be the correct jar since it has other similar named files (ie. LaunchMenuDelegate.class) in the same directory.

Am I missing something or was the build process wrong or the config pointing to the wrong file?

Thanks!
