I am running the hibernate-tools 3.1.0 beta 4 on eclipse 3.1.1

I have my eclipse set to a black background for editors with a yellow foreground by default. The HQL editor is not reading any of the foreground colors though and there are no preferences for it that I can find.

The text is black and the keywords are a dark maroon. Needless to say, the editor is completely useless with black text on a black background.

I REALLY don't want to use a white background for all my editors (I prefer black by far) and this is the only eclipse editor that doesn't seem to be configurable (SQL editor/HQL editor).

Is there some hidden configuration file that stores the black/maroon that I can change by hand since there doesn't seem to be a preferences entry?

This is really stopping me from working so any help is greatly appreciated.
