I have modified the source code for the HibernateIDE to support hibernate 3.0.x. This is currently operational and we use it almost everyday.

This is a great tool if you do not use eclipse as your development IDE. We also added a feature that traps the generated SQL statement from the HQL and appends it to the messages panel.

I would like to post the source code for this change so others may be able to use/modify the tool

Any help would be great

nice, but there already exist such a thing in CVS history - but noone wanted to maintain it.

I would rather see people taking the existing code and integrate that into a non-eclipse setup; but only if they want to maintain it.

p.s. anyone who wants to take the query console and make it runnable in a standard eclipse RCP application would also be very much appreciated ;)
