Hibernate tools, too big?

Is there a need for hibernate tools to be a 25MB download if one doesn't need the entire eclipse plugin structure? I mean the base lib is only 316K!

The ANT support is independent to the eclipse package.

It's not independent if I have to download the entire 25MB!
I propose to make a separate small package with just the hibernate-tools.jar

we did that before, but that gave us more work, and even more complaints and support questions about why we have then have three packages - so i decided to shove it down too 2.

And as david says - you can just throw away/ignore the eclipse stuff if you dont want it.
