Can't get tools to start in Eclipse 3.1

I'm tying to use Eclipse 3.1.1 with the latest Hibernate Tools 3.1.0.beta2 I can't get anything to load, when I try the Hibernate perspective the error is "Problems opening perspective 'org.hibernate.eclipse.console.HibernateConsolePerspective'

When I try to create anything from the "new wizard" I get this error:
"Plug-in org.hibernate.eclipse.console was unable to load class org.hibernate.eclipse.console.wizards.NewConfigurationWizard."

Does anyone have any ideas? I installed wtp, JBoss-IDE, and pretty much every plugin eclipse.org offers in the hopes I didn't have some dependency that the tools needed. Thanks.

Do this and tell me if that doesnt work for you:

Take a fresh eclipse 3.1
Install the latest build from the nightly builds (see links at tools.hibernate.org)
Run eclipse
