I have eclipse with the hibernate tools plugin installed. I also have exadel 3.0 (not pro) installed. The only editors (under "open with") for the *.hbm.xml files are the "Exadel XML Editor", "XML Editor" and "Text Editor". None of which I get the code completion window as shown in the flash demo from the tools.hibernate.org site.

Is there a version conflict with exadel, or is exadel disabling part of this plug-in?

Thanks,
Andrew

I do not know if there is a version conflict. We use the WTP xml editor which most likely is the "XML Editor"

But I do know that Exadel started bundling ancient hibernate tools alpha5 with their toolset and that might be the cause of your problems. They might also be using a older version of WTP, at least they did previously.

But please go to exadel and ask them since it is them who are doing the bundling and let me know if they have an answer.
