I was wondering, is there a version of the Hibernate tools that can be used without Eclipse? I use Netbeans 4.1 as a development environment and JBoss as a deployment server.

Especially the HQL editor seems very handy to me, but I don't really feel like installing Eclipse and using it just for the Hibernate tools.

In the Hibernate Tools roadmap it says:

Quote:
Provide the features of the Hibernate tools in a more light weight edition, possibly as a standalone client, based on Eclipse RCP. (PLANNED)

So I think this means a standalone tools UI will come eventually.
