Hy,
I'm new in hibernate.
I've just write some mapping file, create file .ddl and pojo.
Now I must create mapping file for an existing db.
I know that hibernate tool for doing this is deprecate, so I've installed MidllegenIDE (I use eclipse).
I read MiddlegenIDE Wiki but I've a problem and I don't know where can I ask.
When I'm on a project, I do new->Middlegen->Middlegen Build File I've a new windows and I must select a diretory. I select the directory where I want output. The path is ok, but I've an error message "Please specify directory to output generated resources"

I can't understand!
Can anyone help me? or Where can I ask?

I can't help you with MiddlegenIDE, but the Hibernate tool for this is not deprecated. Look at the hibernate tools page http://www.hibernate.org/255.html. Look in the docs here: http://www.hibernate.org/hib_docs/tools/eclipse/index.html for 'reverse engineering'

Ask on the Middlegen / Middlegen IDE User list. They are more likely to be able to help you.
