Hi All,
//----- I have posted in Hibernate user area too, then I relaised this is the right place-----/

I am newbie on hibernate, presently I am working on WASAD 5.1. we have Oracle system with all the tables setup. I need to generate .hbm.xml and POJO for existing Schema.

Could any one suggest me how do I proceed. While going through the forum people suggest that "Middlegen ". But where should I get and integate with WASAD 5.1. ( some say WASAD and middle are not compatable )

Any suggestions or help are greatly appreciated

thanks
Rbarun

Middlegen will work fine (Hibernate 2.0) and there project has two front ends.
MIddlegen itself (see wiki page) has its own (optional) GUI based on swing. Then there is the MiddlegenIDE project which provides integration into eclipse.

I would start with plain version first then move to IDE if your really do have the requirement to do so. If your going to Hibernate 3.0 then you should consider using the latest JBossIDE (needs eclipse 3.1M5) which may serve your needs.

To get started you can download the Middlegen package from the Hibernate SF download (R5) as its just about setup and ready to go. Small edit to the build.xml file to get the database JDBC driver setup (may need the JDBC dirver's jar file as well) and off you go. The wiki has some information and so does the Middlegen projects web site.

Glad you were able to get the tool to work. I'm not sure what JDBCBinder exception you are refering to though.
