Hi,

I hope this is the right forum to ask my question.

I would like to upload a patch to JIRA, and i want to generate a diff file.
What utility is used to generate such a file (by JIRA users)?

Thanks a lot!
Michael.

diff ;)

diff is a command. I will then assume you are running windows; you need to either get a windows thingy that knows how to generate diffs (WinMerge is one I know) or use the "cvs diff" command

cygwin also includes diff for windows.

Eclipse also can create patches with by rightclicking on the project and selecting "Team->Create Patch"
