It seems like middlegen provided good answer to it's problem. did you try to check up on it ?

The error message provides good clues but having said that you did not provide much information. What databasde?, What JDBC driver version.

Have you looked at the Middlegen site for help (some issue with MySQL can cause this problem and it is documented).

the database oracle 9i and i used middlegen to extract hibernate mapping file from database

how can i do that plz?

Oracle should not be a problem at all. You most likely need to include the correct schema name in the JDBC connection configuration.
