Hi,

Some has reported that when they use 0.7.1 they get an entry in the error log about no factory registrered (or similar).

I have now used (again ;) a couple of hours investigating when this occurs and I can simply not reproduce it when running the workbench
from inside eclipse - it seem to only occur when running eclipse with the plugin installed.

Can someone verify this on their installations ?

There is bug in wtp 0.7.1 - try this:

- create new xml file with non *.xml extension (for example *.jrxml)
- add file association and content type in preferences

open file - you will get excpetion in error log view - this work fine in 0.7 - i try last weekly build (10152005) today

that doesnt relate to hibernate tools does it ?

no, it is wtp bug - i have tried it with last weekly build and bug is resolved

standard xml editor have outline with first attribute shown (like in hibernate tools and spring ide) - I think that it do things easier for you

I have tried recompile hibernate tools with last wtp without success - mapper plugin is a problem; console work normal (it is same with spring-ide, for example) - last wtp change editor framework too much

wizards (new console conf.,reveng.xml,artifact and cfg.xml) work fine, hibernate console (perspective and views) work

im talking about WTP 0.7.1 not their development milestones which will take alot of work to adopt to. One step at the time.

are you still getting the 'no adapter factory' message?

wtp 0.7.1 have bug and it isn't hibernate tools problem -
i get errorr message for any non *xml file

bug is resolved in post 0.7.1
current hibernate tools need requirements wtp 0.7 only
