I have been working on a patch to the maven-hibernate-plugin that would allow the plugin to generate Java code from hbm.xml files using the hibernate-tools.jar.

Currently this jar is unavailable at http://www.ibiblio.org/maven and I have posted a request to get it uploaded to this site: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MAVENUPLOAD-273.

Could one of the developers involved with Hibernate reply to this post to indicate whether this meets you approval and whether you have any objections to the hibernate-tools-2.1.3.jar being added to the same group as the main hibernate jar.

I have posted this request here as it seemed a more appopriate place than spamming the whole developer list.

We have no interest in supporting Maven. You can do whatever you like unless it consumes developer resources on our side.
