Hibernate version:


I am using hibernate with Hypersonic SQL. For building my project, I used Maven. I found a Maven plugin goal for hibernate, the hibernate:schema-export goal. I was able to create my tables using hbm.xml files. Now i need to populate at least a single entry in a specific table in my database. How can i do this using Maven?

One way would be to define a post-goal to the hibernate:schema-export goal which executes a custom class you'd write to perform the needed operation(s).
