I am new to Hibernate.

How to automatically generate XDoclet Javadoc tags?
I checked FAQs and read the reference manual and can't find an example.

Thanks so much for your help.

Jim

It cannot generate java doc markup for you.

One option is to use Middlegen to generate the HBMs with XDoclet meta tags and then use hbm2java to generate the Java code (which will have the appropriate markup).

David,
Thanks for your advice. I got that part working (hbm2java).
However, when I try to use XDoclet to generate hbm.xml from
*.java code that has hibernate mapping tags,
it generates correct hbm.xml. But withoud all the meta tags.
Is there way I can keep these meta tag

XDoclet currently does not have markup support for generating the meta tags in you HBMs. You can have a go at adding it yourself.
