Hibernate version 2.1.4
MySQL version 4.0.18 using InnoDB
JDBC connector mysql-connector-java-3.0.14-production-bin.jar
Middlegen-Hibernate-r4

When using middlegen to access mySQL database, I can generate the xml files, java files but I can't see the relationship.

I'm using mySQL InnoDB with foreign keys for my table.

All help will be greatly appreciated.

mysql-connector-java-2.0.14-bin.jar
mysql-connector-java-3.0.0-beta-bin.jar
mysql-connector-java-3.0.14-production-bin.jar

Read the forum. Some other mySQL user solve the problem by changing jdbc. It doesn't work for me. =(

Will appreciate all help from all experts out there.

Its a JDBC driver issue. So in general it requires MySQL 3.23.43b (or higher) with InnoDB enabled and MM.MySQL 2.0.9 or higher. The table names must be define in lower case, otherwise no relations will be discovered.

Middlegen did supply an early JDBC driver for it with a patch to help but I believe its not longer needed with the latest versions.

I have fixed the problem but its not the JDBC issue. The relationship was generated but I couldn't see it. Because somehow the relationship window is minimised, you have to drag and pull it open to see it. Oh my god, wasted half a day on this.

Don't think complex, think simple. =(

Oh Yes - I fixed this sometime ago :-). I need to get that R5 release out. Just have two items on my TODO list.
