Hi,

There are two unresolved bugs in JIRA dealing with this issue:

http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/hibernate/browse/HB-671

http://opensource.atlassian.com/projects/hibernate/browse/HB-409

Apparently, Hibernate Tool's SchemaUpdate command doesn't work on databases with case-sensitive tables in which the name is lower case. (for example, MySQL on Linux). I've found this tool to be pretty useful in my Windows dev environment; it'd be great if it worked with my production server of Linux/MySQL.

Any comments from the team on when this might be fixed? (Looks like a patch is already supplied).

Thanks!
