Mapping precision of BigDecimal to store monetary amounts

XDoclet will generate this column in MYSQL for a property of type BigDecimal.

Code:

amount NUMERIC(19, 255) not null

I want Xdoclet to generate NUMERIC(5,2) !

How can I customize the DDL generated from XDoclet ? Is the sql-type hint only supported within the mapping document ? Is there nothing in XDoclet that will provide the sql-type hint ?
