I read in the BV spec that method validation is "out". What do you reckon is the future for this (IMO very interesting feature) ?

Will implementations implement it as described in the appendix (plus allow the annotations be put on parameters), will it vanish, or will it be addressed in a future spec?

I wish to give it a spin in Hibernate Validator once we get the spec out. And ideally base a future rev of the spec on this work. That being said, we need to see how JSR 305 (or 308) turns out.
