I want second constraint to skip if first failed

Suppose I have 2 constraints on bean property.

@MyComplexConstraint
private Bean bean;

Even if @Valid fails, @MyComplexConstraint is calculated. How can I disable calculating MyComplexConstraint in that case?

Hi,

did you already have a look at Bean Validation's concept of validation group sequences? You might also be interested in Hibernate Validator's "fail fast" option which will be introduced with HV 4.2 (see Hardy's post on the Beta release for more information).
