I spent over (12) hours yesterday, downloading, installing and trying to get various examples to
work, only to find out, I think that each one utilized a different version of nHibernate, which may
or may not of been the issue.

I want to use this as it looks like it's perfect for a project I am working on as it has over (50)
simple code tables, no relationships, etc and having this type of tool whereas I could quickly
create the XML file and add, update, delete, etc.

I have also searched through this forumn with tons on results that didn't exactly pan out.
I have gone through the NHibernate example also with no luck getting it to work.

I am using VisualStudio 2005 SP2, SQLServer 2005 SP2 and know my way around C# fairly
well, I am totally missing some important piece so that I can get the most basic example
to work?

Links I am looking for are again SIMPLE single table, .NET C# WEB Example, sorry if this
subject has been beaten to death somewhere that I have missed.

Thanks and appreciate any assistance again I love what I see and it's seems to be fantastic,
that if I can get it to work in a project. I currenly have installed version 1.2.1.4000, I had installed
the 2.X, latest and believe quite a few example on the web don't work with that version!

Sometimes there can be too much information. I finally got a basic example to execute from

It still required some tweaking, whereas the quickstart page here helped some, it was where the guy's
were posting their individual errors, where they were not supposed to post! If anyone is having problems
getting a real basic example going check out the link above and if you have problems getting it going shoot
me an email and I will send back a .zip file, I am using nHibernate Version 1.2.1.4000.

BTW, if anyone does know of a place where there are basic examples I am still willing to check them out
as you can never get enough different examples of doing a process. Think that's part of why sometimes
this stuff get's so hard to use, there are just so many different ways to get it to work!
