Hi,

I was wondering whether the cache is being informed of any changes in the DB, if there are local application on multiple clients which access via NHibernate a central DB-Instance.
e.g.:
- on client1 & client2 run identical applications, which work with a NHibernat-Layer
- query results are cached on both clients
- client 1 changes data, which were cached by client 2.
- does client 2 know, that its cache is having invalid data?

Thanks

antoschka

See http://www.hibernate.org/hib_docs/nhibe ... aches.html

SysCache2 should solve your problem.

Hi, thanks a lot. Didn't find that page right away. syscache2 won't do for me since I have to deal with FoxPro-Tables (over oledb-Driver) and IBM DB2. memcached sounds excellent. Thank you so much for your hint

Bye antoschka
