Hy community and commiters,

since Sybase have made many modifications in the .net Driver for ASA10 they canged the driver-name and command-prefixes in their assembly too. So the old Hibernate.Driver / .Dialect doesn't can work.

ASA8, ASA9 = 'iAnywhere.Data.AsaClient.dll'
ASA10 = 'iAnywhere.Data.SQLAnywhere.dll'

So, we would support ASA10 with our application. I export today the NHibernate SourceFiles from CVS and made two new classes.

NHibernate.Dialect.SybaseAnywhere10Dialect.cs
Nhibernate.Driver.ASA10Driver.cs

I have tested it against my ASA10 DB.

To whom can i send these files for a check and commiting for the next release?

Thanks
Stephan

Create a patch, create a new issue in NHibernate issue tracking and attach the patch file with enough explanation of what you've done.

It's a CVS thing. Look at here: http://docs.moodle.org/en/Development:How_to_create_a_patch

JIRA is currently available at http://www.covalentsw.com:8080. I don't know, when it will be back at the original location.
