Hi,
I wondered which tool you use for Mapping generation?
I have been looking at http://murat-yilmaz.blogspot.com and http://www.mygenerationsoftware.com/
Is there any program you experts can recommend?
Cheers

I have been using MyGeneration with one of the NHibernate templates.

I've even done some work to convert the C# template to vb.net for my own use.

By and large, I've used the template generation to help me understand the help documentation, and vice versa

Thank you for your answer. I tried myGeneration with a template and it works okay. But there are quite a few errors to fix. E.g. it was converting my Binary fields to byte[] which NHibernate doesn't allow. Also it forgets to create the functions as virtual.

I'd play around with other templates then. I can't remember which one I'm using but I know it does the virtual functions. As for Binary, I haven't had to set up a binary field yet, so I don't know if it works. But I know there are 4 or 5 nhibernate templates.

I used this one to generate all my mapping files: http://sourceforge.net/projects/nhibernateaddin/

It wasn't bad but it didn't handle GUIDs very well. I had to go back and change them manually but it wasn't a big deal. I really liked the drag and drop aspect of it.

It allowed us to get up and running quickly.

Does any of you guys have a working template I can use?
marc.winder> I tried to install the addin, but it messed my visual studio so much up that I had to do a reinstall, so I don't recommend that. I it probably just me though;)
